Cookies and browser storage
Your family’s shopping lists, meal plan, membership details and profile preferences are stored in the hosting database. This page describes cookies and browser storage used by the current pages.
Login and trusted browser
__Host-familiensnet is a necessary session cookie for login. It uses Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. The server session expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or at most 12 hours; the session cookie itself has no fixed expiry date.
If you select “Remember my login”, __Host-familiensnet-remember is used for up to 90 days to restore login on this device. The cookie contains a random key.
For two-factor authentication, __Host-familiensnet-trusted can remember a trusted browser for up to one year, including after logout. It contains a random key, neither your password nor your email code. Changing or resetting your password or changing the two-factor setting invalidates previous browser approvals.
Your language preference
__Host-familiensnet-language remembers your chosen language on public pages for 180 days. It contains a language code. When you are logged in, your personal language preference from the database is used.
Preferences in this browser
familiensnet-cookie-notice-v1 remembers for 180 days that you have read the information. Expired information is removed on your next visit. “Understood” hides the information banner; the button does not control Google Analytics or a consent preference.
familiensnet-meal-view-v1 remembers the meal plan view for your account and family until browser data is deleted.
familiensnet-welcome-guide-v1, familiensnet-meal-guide-v1, familiensnet-family-guide-v1 and familiensnet-profile-guide-v1 remember completed guides for your account and family until browser data is deleted. Lists and meal plans are not stored in localStorage.
If you previously used the prototype, old local data may still exist in your browser. The current pages do not read or import it. You can remove it in your browser settings.
Visitor statistics
Google Analytics with measurement ID G-RQSD6G9DXT is used for visitor statistics. The Google tag loads on the pages and may use analytics cookies.
Log out and clear browser data
Logging out removes the session and remembered login on this device. A trusted browser for two-factor authentication may still be remembered. Clearing browser data does not delete your family’s shared data from the database.
You can reopen this overview through “Cookies and browser storage”. “Show information again” only removes the acknowledgement that you have read the banner and displays the banner again.
